This paper describes the proposed method for automating the work of a NDT-operator engaged in visual inspection. The process of constructing the trajectory of motion of an electron microscope by points from the designed 3D model of the test sample is considered. The possibility of processing photographs by artificial intelligence (hereinafter AI) to search for possible defects is considered. An indication of the location of defects on the UV scan of the 3D model is considered for its further search on the test sample.
