Анотація

The research analyses the country image of Kazakhstan, which two articles published one in CNBC and a second in the New York Times, create for the country. The research methodology applied a critical discourse analysis of the news frames employed in the articles. The main findings were that the articles employed primarily negative human frames and responsibility frames. The research explored only two articles. Therefore, it does not claim representativeness of the results.
