Анотація

This article is devoted to the study of Somerset Maugham’s short story “The Book Bag”. It mainly focuses on the analysis of moral and immoral issues, emphasizing to the matter of incestry and its fatal outcomes. These concepts are fully explained in the article with the help of extracts taken from the literary work. Moreover, the interpretation of the passages reveals the current relevance of the topic.
