Анотація

The aim of the study was to characterize the changes in the absolute and relative parameters of the immune system cells under the influence of GM soy in the experiment. It was found that in laboratory animals that consumed GM soy, 77.8% of the parameters of the immune system significantly differed from those of the control group, the differences in relative parameters were identical with quantitative indicators, the changes were multidirectional and reflected the degree of influence on the immune system. This condition indicated a strain in the immune system. In the comparison group, no differences were observed from the data of the control group. To assess the effect of the GM product on the activity of the body’s immune system and the quantitative indicators of immunocompetent cells, the EIID (experimental immunodeficiency index) is recommended. This index allowed us to assess the degree of depth of immunodeficiency in the experiment.
